Basil trying to destroy our computers?

I clicked this one thread and a pop up came up click "ok to navigate away from this page" first time I clicked cancel then when I was done reading I clicked "x" on the close tab thing then the same thing pop'd up and I clicked ok turns out when you click OK it brings it back up So I just brought my task manager and I fixed the problem.... But I was wondering what was that?

Whenever I click on a screen, and I want to see the next one, I keep lagging, and then this thing pops up and says "syntax error"

The same thing happened to me about 30mins ago too. This pop up came up asking me if I wanted to navigate away from the page, and whatever I clicked it kept coming up.

Report the add! It says so in the rules, or in a thread made by the mods i think... If you see an add like that again, just report it! :b

pavchka : Oh, sorry. I misread. (my mistake) @_@ What browser are you using? I'm using Google Chrome and sometimes it gives me a similar message, only I don't get pop-ups that keep returning and all. Internet E. Also this is the first time happening to me I was just wondering if it could affect my computer/account. @Lunapin Its not a add I don't click adds it just popd up that error/message

I don't click on ads either, but something in one of them wass trying to hijack my browser like the TS said. Unfortunately, by the time I got it back under control, the original ad that had been showing on the Basil page was long gone, so I have no idea what triggered it. Nasty stuff.
