I agree with you though on how they need to learn english (if they wanna be in this country). And the subtitles. They freaking repeat EVERYTHING in spanish at amusement parks now. Btw a lot of "mexicans" are this way, but I do have a really good Mexi friend =D Only cool one I know though...

look, do you realize what english really is? it's the Frankenstein monster of languages. we've got bits and pieces of practically every single romance language. spanish is probably more pure as a language, having been derived directly from a single(if not few) language(s).

The english proficiency test and the citizenship test is too difficult for most people to pass.
