Is pink tube useful for mage?

well yea i duno nothing about pink tube and i dun have one either and then i check on its thingy and it says its a claw/dagger and it doesnt add magic attack so is there one with magic attack thats for magician or no?

The tube depends on your job. Why would they give a mage a claw..

To get the mage one you have to do the quest with a mage character...it's common sense that the quest wasnt thief-specific

If you have an under average tube I'd say it's as equal as a 100%ed Maple Staff. Level 35.

the tube is decent up until 6x, give or take if you have a weapon that can trump it. since it is a temporary weapon, theres not much point to scrolling it, so if you have something that is scrolled and has a higher int and m.attk then by all means use that. but if you only have a tube -v- a poor/clean weapon, opt for the tube. you can also farm melons in the process of getting your own to make some slight amount of meso to build up a decent enough a funding to buy/scroll a better weapon.

It should be good until you get a Shine Wand/Wisdom staff. I got a 57 m.attk one, which is only one less m.attk from a clean Maple Lama/Nocturnal staff.
