| This guide is made to answer questions involving HP Washing Any help for this guide is appreciated as it is being developed. Plus, can someone point out headers and stuff for me, I don't know how to make them. UPDATES (w00t!) v.2 Updated with headers, fixed a few dumb errors (8/12/09) v.1 Original (8/12/09) Table of Contents 1. What is HP Washing? 2. How do you HP Wash? 3. Other ways of increasing HP 4. Uses of HP Washing 5. Int Equips 6. FAQ 1. What is HP Washing? HP Washing is washing out your MP Points into your primary attack stat so that you do not lose any damage while increasing your HP at the same time. 2. How to HP Wash You need the following: AP Resets Minimum MP For Your Class AP Points You need AP Points to do this which is why people do this right after leveling. Basically, after leveling, click on your AP Reset. Then, take a point out of your Mana Points Add the point into your primary attack skill (Str for Warriors and Brawlers, Dex for Bowmen and Slingers, Int for Mages, Luk for Thieves) Then add a point into HP. The number of HP you gain is about 20 per point. Remember: Wash first, then put the points into HP. If you just put all the points into HP first, then realize you can't wash... well that's bad. [Basil Tip]Warriors lose 4mp per point, Archers and thieves 12mp and Pirates 16mp [Basil Tip] It is better to wash after level 120 because your primary skill matters less at that point than in the earlier stages. 3. Other ways to increase your HP If you are a bowman, you know this technique. It is called Blood Building. Blood Building is when you directly place the points into HP WITHOUT washing it out. This can lower your damage by a significant amount but at the same time, let you increase your HP. Doing this averages about 100 more HP per level, 1000 more HP per 10 levels. Remember to this after 4th Job. [Basil Tip] This is not recommended for Night Lords because Luck matters just as much as it does during the early jobs. If you wanna do it, go ahead. I'm not stopping you. 4. Uses of HP Washing As many ranged classes know, you need to increase your HP to survive at bosses earlier. It is better to boss at 130 than waiting until about 180. HP required to boss: At least 3.4k Base HP to fight Zakum without Hyper Body (2k With) At least 3.8k HP to fight Left side Pianus (4.8k on right side) At least 3.7k HP to train at skeles, and to get 2HKO at Himes At least 4k HP to survive a Pap Bomb At least 4.7k Base HP to fight Horntail At least 7k Base HP to Fight Pink Bean (eek) Melee: 18k to survive Anego's slap 11k to survive Bigfoot 15k to survive Horntail (tail... rest, you don't really touch) At least 25k HP to survive Pink Bean Melee touch. (Only need 18.7k + HB to achieve 30k HP) As you can see, ranged characters clearly need to HP Wash to train or boss efficiently, at an earlier level. Pink Bean, well, you have to HP Wash and Blood build to even survive Ariel's Genesis, let alone her 12k+ Attack. 5. Int Equips How do you get the MP r |

| Good guide, but to clean it up/make it neater, then I suggest using headers () for the main parts, and bold some parts that you want to make clear. Other than that, nice work and nice guide. |

| I thought there is a minimum amount of INT you need in order to even have your MP increased by a significant amount. |

| Legiter : Haha thanks. How do I make headers o_O? I think it's a simple [ header ] <Text> [ / header ] (removing the extra spaces of course. By the way can you take points out of mp using ap reset and then add to a normal stat like luk? |

Yep, you can only take points out of HP and MP to put it in the 4 Primary stats (Str, Dex, Int, Luk) |

| I thought you couldn't take away points from your MP unless you've risen points into HP first? Your guide says otherwise; but I'm almost certain you need to raise points in HP first and then lower your MP. I could be wrong, I've never been interested in it. |

Proof that you don't need to put points into HP first http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sQWg4vlx_Ec&feature=channel_page (youtube) As you clearly see, she already has 5 AP Points. |

That doesn't necessarily prove anything. She could have just added into HP already, some of my friends do that. I don't HP wash or ever have been interested in the idea since I'm not ranged.. I'm willing to admit I'm wrong compared to someone whose studied up on it lol. It was just what I thought. |
