is vanish useful?and how it works?

hi I saw some guides for nw to put 1 skill point in vanish i was wondering if that necessary or useful

Do it. It's necessary for training at Newties at lvl 80. It allows you to attack out of Dark Sight. So basically you only need 1 point in it for the convenience of not having to attack out of Dark Sight. Ok that was worded wierd. To train at lightning speeds at lvl 80. You need Maxed poison sling and 1 point in vanish. Go to Newties. Cast Dark Sight and Press the Poison Sling button. You instantly drop the poison bomb. Recast Dark sight. Repeat. CC Repeat for other channel. CC back Repeat. Since Poison Sling does initial damage. It should 1hko everything on the map, because they took maxed poison damage while you were on other map. It's merely for the convenience of faster training. Or else you'd have to: Cast Dark Sight. Press attack button. Drop Bomb. Cast Dark Sight again. I hope that made sense.. Only put that 1 point in Vanish if you're maxing Poison Sling first.

Max = 30% more damage) is useless. Because the time consumed to do that for every monster you see would not compensate for the little extra damage you do. Like mentioned above, however, vanish is only useful because it doesn't require you to do a normal attack to get out of dark sight. Plus, certain monsters like newties and himes don't attack you when you're in dark sight. In all, vanish allows you to train faster with much less pot usage. That is the reason why level 1 vanish is sufficient.
