I'll do Energy Charge and Blast first, with every level 2 Charge and 1 Blast, with exception of some levels because 11 Blast hits more monsters. For you that would mean: Lvl 50-55: 2 Charge 1 Blast, so you have 14 Charge 5 Blast Lvl 56&57: 3 Blast, now you have 11 Blast Lvl 58-60: 2 Charge 1 Blast, you have 20 Charge 15 Blast Lvl 61: 3 Blast (18) Lvl 62: 2 Blast (20), 1 Lightning Charge Lvl 63-68: maxing Lightning Charge

Having played a Marauder and Thunder Breaker, I think you went wrong when you maxed CSB.

Get 11 booster, lightning charge for ele boost on singapore for max funnage. @ Above : Having played a Marauder and TB, why wouldn't you max it o.O? Range grows with level, and it does provide invincible frames..

Yes, but level 1 CSB is enough to move monsters wherever and give you the invincibility. The 420% damage is nice, but the premature introduction of Energy Charge/Energy Blast (them being available in 2nd job) destroys CSB's usefulness as a damage dealing skill. Lightning Charge deals 120% damage with every attack, and most monsters are lightning-neutral. Speed Infusion requires a prerequisite of a maxed Booster, so the odd man out is CSB. You can still put it up to level 12 I think it is, anyways.

I see why to wait with Corkscrew, but isn't it better to let Booster stay at 11 and max it with 3rd job SP, because with Sharkwave Transformation + Shockwave is less usefull? |

Well, that's all the later you'll get speed infusion then.

AlmightySofa : Well, that's all the later you'll get speed infusion then. You can't get speed infusion till late into 3rd job as a thunder breaker and Energy Blast maxes at 360% for 3 monsters. As a marauder it's great, for thunder breakers it's not nearly as good. I chose to not get it since I normally hit 5~6 monsters at a time anyways so SKK is superior to blast anyways. Getting back on topic: I'd suggest working on energy charge and lightning charge next. Energy charge's attack buff is extremely useful and lightning charge is good for every situation.

Max Lightning Charge. After, get blast to 11 then 2 Energy 1 Blast until they're both maxed. Finish with booster at 11.

so lighting first? or make lightning 5 then do charge and booster
WhatAmIDoing 08/13/09

Max lightning. You don't get much of an elemental booster at 5%.
