Mastery VS Savage Blow

Well I'm about to level to 30 on my first ever character, and I was wondering what is better to master Savage Blow or Mastery first? What would I deal more damage with or should I go at it a different way?

I did both at once. SB won't really be an ideal move until quite a bit if SP has been put on it. Try 2 on SB and 1 on mastery, and then next lvl, 2 on mastery and 1 on SB and then alternate maybe? ups to you

As far as I know 19 Mastery then Savaga Blow is still the way to go (no rhyme intended). But some people go 21 SB then Mastery then maxed Savage Blow now the skill has changed. I went 21 SB 20 Mastery (the 19 Mastery build didn't exist yet) because I was really darn exited about SB and HAD to have it.

the way i did it was lvl 30-40 Savage Blow. Then i maxed Haste for kicks and THEN I maxed mastery. It didn't seem important to me. Also it was 10x more fun xD

I put one point in sb (for fun) and then pumped the rest in mastery, then maxed sb. Mathematically the most effiecient and most powerful build is to do 19 mastery first, then max sb. But, either way you go 30-43ish is gonna be hell for you because you will remain fairly weak. bandits really get their power overnight.

My build was wierd 1st Job- Sindit+maxed Double stab (no dark sight) 2nd job- Max mastery(19)+ sb (after i maxed mastery i started using a dagger :p) and then i abandoned steal and maxed haste then maxed darksight it worked out awesomely

Kazegiri : Isn't it "excited"? There are those words I always confuse. Excited, existed, exercise, execute (execute looks weird, but excecute looks weird too), exept and all. Darn, why can't English spelling be more consistent? Touzokuou: Because it's half Latinate and Germanic and therefore- That wasa rethorical question, Touz. -_-

Probably the best way to get a handle on English spelling is to read, read, and read some more. And then when you finish that, go read some other stuff. Because honestly the only way to learn to spell in English is just through exposure (there's another ex- word for you). Oh and don't take your learning from the Basil forums because 90% of the people here can't put a proper sentence together, native speakers or not.
