Meso Explotion Question

i know this is probably stupid but im wondering how come chief bandits/shadowers drop less than 15k bags instead of 50k meso bags? wouldnt it do more damage?

there's a sweet spot in the meso per damage point charts. Graph it out yourself and see.

If you bomb with 50K bags, you will eventually hit the 99k damage cap, making you lose out on damage you could have done. That and because damage multipliers are much higher for lower amounts of mesos.
