Characters are see through except clothes and hair

All characters on maplestory are see through except clothes and hair, I downloaded it on my new laptop, it only does it on my laptop. And I tried redownloading it and it still does it. The characters being see through is making me lag just enuf that it takes almost a half a second to load a jump and to stop moving after I let off the moving key. Which makes it very hard to train. Anyone know why it does this?

Updated graphics driver? I'm not really sure if that would fix anything though. Just a small thought.

I remember that this happened on my old 10 year Dell Laptop. It was pretty terrible and slow. Sometimes patches of blue or red appear. And...people do turn transparent sometimes. I don't know what you should update, but if you're computer's pretty darn old then that might happen.

Ok, Laptop is brand new, and idk how to updates the graphics card. Not the internet cuz I have a really good connection. But havent tried lowering the graphics on game. But when doing that it doesnt make the characters look different it just changes the background. So idk why its doing it. But its the lag that bothers me. Not being transparent I like that part.
