Hi, Sorry for asking a noob question (if it is), but i want to know how the int and matk works. I understand the fact that for every 1int = every 1matk, but does it work the other way? Like my previous thread stated: is a PuAC +8int, 7matk better than my green Nepoleon with +12int? Since the overall int for the PuAC is 15int? Does that mean, a +5int, 6PuAC is actually not that bad; since the overall int is +11int? Thanks in Advance. P.S: if every 1matk = 1int, then does that mean it still counts toward for every 10int i get 1mp?

Themaplestory3 : Oh Then how does it go? 1)you lvl 2)you put a point in hp 3)you reset a point from mp and put it to your main stat

Okay, 1 Int = 1 m.att, 1 m.def, and some amount of "magic accuracy". Int also affects your Mp increase when you level. Magic, however, doesn't affect your Mp, because 1 m.att =/= 1 Int. Themaplestory3 : Hp washing:Wearing STR equips so when you level, you get more Hp. Mp washing:Wearing INT equips so when you level you get more Mp. *Sigh* Where do people come up with this stuff? First of all, wearing Str equips doesn't make you get more Hp. And the known Hp washing technique is to wear Int equips so you get more Mp when they level. Then, when they level, they put points into Hp. They then take Ap Resets, and take points out of Mp, then put the stats into Str/Int/Luk/Dex.

1 INT = 1 M.ATK + 1 M. Def + (and apparently some mp boosts, anyone have proof?)

wait... so now 1matk =/= 1int? So isn't the +12 int cape better?

INT > matk since the more int u have the more mp u get when u lvl but if u have a 7 matk 8 int puac... then it will give like 15 magic and 15 int napoleon will also give 15 magic u see it now?

To put it simply, 1 int =/= 1 m.atk. 1 int = 1 m.atk + 1 m.def + 1/10 MP point per level rounded down + 1/10 of an accuracy point rounded down An example: A 20 int robe and a 20 m.atk robe (the m.atk robe is impossible, but it makes a good example) The 20 m.atk robe gives: 20 magic. The 20 int robe gives: 20 magic, 20 m.def, 2 bonus MP/level, 2 spell accuracy The 20 int robe is better, but you may not really notice much of a difference. With your equips: Wearing your PuAC: You will gain 15 m.atk, 0 MP/level, and 0 spell accuracy. Wearing your Napoleon: You will gain 12 m.atk, 1 MP/level, and 1 spell accuracy. So the PuAC will allow you to do more damage, but the Napoleon will give you more MP/level and spell accuracy. Unless you're having a hard time hitting what you hunt or are obsessed with wringing every bit of MP possible out of the game, the PuAC will probably be the better of the two options since you will be able to do more damage while wearing it.

re7sam : ur clothes, ur wep, ur lvl 57 to lvl 70 gap and ur server seems like u arent funded, so u use quest clothes. also if u werent funded at all, it would be pretty hard to lvl to 70 also, ur holding a sword, and u were using a tube u wouldnt need a good wep for summoning a sprite, now do u? Look who's talking, your not wearing anything at all.

So you should probably wear PuAC until you're JUST about to level. then switch to YAC to get the stat boosts
