What are the cons of not maxing meditation?

Nothing. Meditation is practically useless for a level 92 Mage right now. I barely even notice a single thing. But apparently when you're 4th job or something, +20 Magic increases your damage by 300.

Would you rather pay 500k per 100 pots or use 20mp, get the same stats, and never repot. Meditate is better, 500k per 100, and that hundred wont last long. Meditation gives the m attk WITHOUT you paying. Meditation>NLC pot

The cons of not maxing medidation is simply you will lose the extra damage.

Cons of not maxing meditation is losing 20 m.att and having to go back to NLC everytime to buy the pots that gives out the boost. Sure it may be only 5k per pot but that 5k quickly adds up.

ChiaPets : Well, but a mage elixer adds the same, it only costs 5k. Having a "free" 20m.atk skill > paying 90k/hour with pots to have the same effect as the skill.
