Should I max Magic guard?

Well I restarted a new account and I started fresh. I decided to pic a cleric since its the cheapest to restart fresh right? Im currently lvl 23 with 10 magicguard should i leave it or max it? Edit: KK I got it now, I`ll max it

You have to max it. Most monsters will 1-hit you with or with out Hp Equips. 2-3 hits at lvl50 from Drakes will ko you.

You won't need to use it much just to survive at vital places. Besides If you don't max it what are you going to put your points in to? Energy bolt? Defence Skill? Magic guard is one of the best skills in 1st job. You won't need it at low levels but you will need it later.

Max it! I once used magic guard on my i/l mage and it took out 1000 mana and 10 hp! :P
