Nothing goes wrong. I didn't 3rd job advance on my Dawn Warrior until lv71 and nothing bad happened.

HP boosts will be a bit less, but that's about it. ...I think.

Nah, you get back your lost Sp.

That's what happened kinda like with my friend. He got his job adv at lvl 12. But he still got extra sp , so don't worry. U r lucky, before then, you wouldn't get back lost SP, so you're lucky
6Lil6Devil6 08/10/09 + PM | QUOTE | PERMALINK | REPORT
still get the 1 sp from job advancement?

You'd lose out on hp thats important for NWs to have, there was another thread of a Hermit going 20 lvls over his 3rd job adv. and he lost out on 1k hp. Which meant he had to either hp wash(wtf is that?) or start over completely. EDIT; And yes you will still get the 1sp from job adv, any sp gained at 71+ is useable for your 3rd job skills.

You don't get an HP boost at level 70... Only at 1st job advancement. If you advance to 1st job late, you lose on HP/MP boosts. 2nd, 3rd or 4th jobs aren't that way though, you don't lose anything.

Your HP won't go down so if you had enough money you could be a level 30 warrior with 30k hp (or even a level 1 beginner with 30k hp.. but that'd take wayyy too much money without extra HP with AP like warriors have)

@SG; Then why are people talking bout having good int gear on their sins and then hp washing? Cause the way you described it to me makes a lot more sense.

@ SGBowman5, there is much more to know about HP washing than what you have said. You could never be lvl 30 with 30k HP... Read up about it before posting nonsense.

yea wuts int gear for?

Hp-Washing, (I believe) is when you wear INT gear when you level up in order to get more mp, then, you buy how ever many AP resets you feel that you need, and use them on your mp, you then take the points you received into hp so you can have more :]

Hp-Washing 101: When you lvl up you put all or some of your ap into HP. You then buy AP resets in order to reset points from MP and add those back into Luk, Dex or w/e it is you want. The reason you take from MP is because you can only reset points from the same pool. HP and MP are one pool while the base stats are another. That's also why you add into HP first. Now the jobs have a minimum MP requirement which is why you should calculate that first before you buy too many AP resets. And that is how you HP wash. Note: The min MP requirements is why ppl strive to get int gears in order to boost maximum MP overall. Edit: I myself have not hp washed (but I need to soon)
mastashake2 08/10/09 + PM | QUOTE | PERMALINK | REPORT
pizzaguy is absolutely correct. It has been proven that having extra INT from equips (a lot extra, mind you) will increase your MP upon lvl up. This will increase your maximum MP, thus allowing you to use additional AP resets to 'take out' the additional MP. There is a very specific formula that limits how much MP you can 'wash' in this manner, hence the need for high INT equips for non-magers.
