i decided to install windows on my mac for ms, but i only have windows sp1, and it is not supported, so anyway i need to slipstream windows sp2 onto my disc, or another way to play ms would be appreciated

BobRDo you have access to a Windows computer..? As far as I know you're caught in a classic "Catch-22" because the only means I know of to create a slipstreamed disk with both the Windows Installation, SP1, and SP2 is to do it on a Windows computer. (There might be a Mac utility to do it, but I sure wouldn't bet on it.) There might also be a Linux procedure that might run under OSX, but that's way out of my experience range. On a Windows PC, slipstreaming is fairly straightforward, although not a particularly simple or enjoyable thing to do. Sort of like in the middle of the "going to the dentist" type of fun things to do on an afternoon. thx i do have a windows computer (I did look into it myself before posting), just wanted to see if anyone had experience doing it
