i know for sure because my email and ms pw is changed. i'm using kaspersky as i type this. what else do i need to do to get rid of this and how will i know it's gone? this is some serious stuff.

Agreed. Once you're infected there's a good chance you won't remove it all and it will continue to haunt you. Reformatting is how you can be sure you're disinfected.

Disconnect your internet for starters, and re-instal your Operating system (Vista or XP)
