Eurek The Alchemist stole 3.5mil from me =(

So I decided I wanted the legendary spirit skill or whatever it's called from Eurek, so I could scroll these 65% scrolls that Gaga's been giving me. I never did this quest before, and I decided I'd do it on my Thunder Breaker. I bought a rep whip for 2.5mil in the fm, and got the other 100% scrolls I needed for the quest, and went to sleepywood to talk to Eurek. The quest finishes, I loose the 1mil and all the other stuff, but when I go to check my beginner skills, there's no new skill =( Is there something I did wrong? Or is this a glitch of some kind? =( cause now I don't have enough money for my lvl 50 mount, for no reason.
