Are the biggest hypocrites! I mean, seriously. I personally live in the U.S. unfortunantly, but still! They say we are the land of the free, that everyone has equality, that you can be whoever you want, but that's not true. They allow one group of people to make a decision for the whole community just because it goes against what they believe in. If you haven't caught my drift by now, I'm talking about religions + other people's choice on their orientation. Please discuss. I will add more to it as it comes to mind.

It's been like that for..200 years. Not like they just came up with it yesterday.

Jerico said: "in 50 years, the whole world will be united" I seriously doubt it. No one can maintain common-low anymore.

imogeneMost recent example of this is when Clinton saved two journalists from North Korea. Clinton did something good for the journalists and their families, a good that would have been completely unnecessary had the journalists not been risking their asses, and forcing American into a difficult foreign policy decision, just to get their irrelevant network some ratings. But by going over there, apologizing on the part of the American Government (or at least, giving Kim Jong Il the opportunity to CLAIM he did in his national press and on the world wide stage where at least 1 out of every 2 people will believe it whether it's the truth or not) he hurt American foreign policy in relations to North Korea at a very critical time when they're already playing Obama for an idiot with their nuclear weapons programs. No matter how you cut it, it's a tactical mistake, even if it's good for the selfish journalists involved.

True freedom can't exist without chaos. The US is simply trying to prevent that chaos by limiting freedom. Be thankful.

You forgot that free speech is not given to all citizens... as well as equal rights, and a lot of issues. That's why we are the United States of A-holes.

What ever happened to "Give me liberty or give me death"? ppl died to give us the freedoms we enjoy today, but apparently Americans nowadays are so afraid of what might happen that they've decided to backtrack and limit those rights.
