Just reinstalled Maplestory on a friend's computer and we keep getting this issue. the game starts normally and flashes the login screen for a second, and then closes. Just installed the game today from the actual website, so no problem there, his computer has run it, and is much more than capable of running it. we've tried: reinstalling it(from the installer, not uninstalling/redownloading, etc. trying to find a solution that works so we can avoid another few hours of waiting.) deleting the gameguard folder(it remade the folder, but alas had no effect) turning off his anti-virus(didn't do anything) I know I've had this problem personally in the past(distant past, like v .50-ish or earlier), so it's definitely a recurring problem, and I've surfed the web looking for an answer and haven't found a solution. I forgot how I originally fixed it, but I'm probably going to have to end up redownloading/installing the program, but if you have any possible solutions, I would GREATLY appreciate it.

Anyways, do you delete anything before you reinstall it?

That did nothing, I don't think it's a monitor problem, because I can see the game, it just closes instantly.
