would skipping power strike for soul be a good idea since you get the 2nd job attack thats 1v1 which is better than power strike anyways?

What 2nd job attack that's 1v1? And even if there was one, it'd be a terrible idea. It's like skipping L7 for a sin just cus they get TT in 4th job >.<

But there is not a 1v1 skill in 2nd job that I noticed, so he should max PS.

Sword Mastery Sword Booster Final Attack Rage Soul Rush Soul Blade At level 50, soul blade hits close to power strike, but power strike stills wins by about 800 damage. YOU WILL REGRET IT COMPLETELY. Get power strike, soul 11 is fine. Even add 1 to iron body just to negate rage's -wep def. My point: SOUL > POWER STRIKE

power strike is 1 hit...and its 260% damage..why would you skip that...since it only gets replaced in 3rd...slash blast is the one that gets replaced in second..

This is what i did for my Dawn Maxed MaxHP Power Strike Soul Iron Body and 1 in Slash Blast

The sprites are useless past 1st except for maybe Thunder Breakers in 3rd simply because of Sparks and not the spirit itself. Power Strike will last longer and is a better choice than Soul.
