Help with cygnus knight mount

Alright so i got the mount and my guildies told me that i need to train a lvl or w.e to get it right so i do i train from lvl 50-51 and 20% and its still not fully hatched it says Its head has popped out but there is still shell... is it fully hatched or is there one more stage?

It's fully hatched when you can see the head.

I had this problem too, its fully hatched.

I trained at level 50 at truckers. 40% feet popped out, 70% head, and 90% it fully hatched. My guildmate did CPQ at 50 and it still was't fully hatched when he leveled to 51. I think it's based on monster killing exp but I could be wrong.

Perhaps it has more do with the number of monsters you kill, instead of the exp you gain. In which case, doing quests or getting pq exp wouldn't help at all.
