State of MS: How v.73 affects YOU

Hi, just a little disclaimer before we get started: - Everything posted here is my opinion, I do not force it upon you, nor do I claim it is all statistically accurate. It's impossible to be 100% accurate in this field as most of it is speculation at this point. - This is long, if you don't have patience or interest to read this, feel free to quit now. Or try to be cool and post too long, didn't read, it just bumps my thread - This is an analysis of how the .73 patch will change MS, and the future ahead. - I love comments, suggestions or constructive criticism, if you have something to add, go ahead and don't be shy, post it! - This follows the order of this Nexon-created list: click Now onward! Cygnus Knights This is very important to the future of MS. Some people love Cygnus Knights, some hate it. Nexon.net said: "MapleStory's first premium class is here. A Cygnus Knights character can be created by any player with a level 20 or above character. All Knights begin at level 1 with the Noblesse job. Once a Knight reaches level 10 they can chose to take one of five new jobs; Dawn Warrior, Blaze Wizard, Wind Archer, Night Walker, or Thunder Breaker. Cygnus Knights characters can enjoy a new quest line, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th job advancements, and 120 levels of content." Sounds great, doesn't it? However people who chose not to create Cygnus Knights are pretty pissed, as they are looking at their above average damage, uncanny moves that look like they are 2 job advancements too early, and most of all, the simple influx of Knights which is creating massive lag. What would you say if I told you Cygnus Knights is one of the best things that could happen to MapleStory at this point? Seriously! Here's a simple list, following the same format as my leeching list. 1. Player creates Cygnus Knight. 2. Player funds Cygnus Knight, buys potions and equips for Cygnus Knight from NPC for 30/40 levels. That bolded part is very important. Before CK, how many of you have been regularly been creating accounts, massively funding them and working on them seriously? If you have a level 70+, you probably have your hands full. But Cygnus Knights create a massive amount of money flowing back into NOWHERE (NOWHERE = server, ex. getting mesos from monsters is getting mesos from NOWHERE, buying and selling stuff to NPCs is money going back into NOWHERE) and this is good. It made me poor, some ass posted on basil saying how WGs will get cheaper cause of hammer and that I should sell it before the patch. I sold my 8 attack WG before the patch and lost 25mil. =.=

I feel happy for Maker Skill cause for some reason I'm exploring alot on it and I'm close on getting a SECRET CRYSTAL =P Btw, CK is fine, Im still training mine. And I feel left out because of vicious hammer and the artifacts And I'm still thinking of a way on how to get my CK a Z-Helm x-x I kinda Hate the lag it killed me on Elder Wraiths And about the maker skill, about the lvl 90 stuffs, Because of my exploration its easy to get monster crystals by Disassembling any armor or weapon thats at least lvl90 (not common armors or weapons tho)

All I know is that I quit MS, lots of my friends quit MS, so did many of my guild members.. Seriously the game just isn't fun anymore when its clear all they want is money. Like seriously, when the game fist came out they even had it in their ToS that the cash shop would never give an advantage to players, well now they've given huge advantages. This patch killed MapleStory, well its actually been dead for a while, but this just made it more clear.
