A Thunder Breakers Dilema

Ok, so I know that Cork Screw is like the best move for a brawler. But for my thunder breaker I was wondering if it would be a bad decision to max Energy Blast instead. I mean for one thing it hits on more target than CS and it has the speed of FF on top of having equal damage to CS. So I was wondering if it would be bad to max EB and only put my remaining 11 in CS?

It isn't a bad decision, in the end of the 2nd job Cygnus TB, Energy Blast is required to be maxed. Doesn't matter what order.

I just dont see it being a situation that will ruin me I mean when mobbing you spend most of your time fully charged anyways. And when mobbing you dont really have the time to charge for 2 seconds for CS, and within those 2 seconds you would have to charge you can probably whip out like 3 or 4 EB. So it seems like it would be more effective mobbing.

im also a thunder breaker and i think im going to max csb and energy blast and leave points off booster not entirely sure yet tho trying to find a decent guide

I dunno because then you cant get Speed Infusion in your 3rd job unless you have maxed Booster. But its good to see someone else besides me is thinking differently

actually, the best idea is to max both and leave booster at 11. you will then max booster between 100-110, and put 11 sp into speed infusion at 110.

Ummm... well sunshine I looked it up and you gots a couple of choices either A) take 9 points out of Lightning charge/CSB/or EnergyBlast I'd say Lightning Charge or Energy Blast cause IMO CSB is better than Energy Blast. B) or You could take 9 out of Booster and forgo the speed infusion skill as all it does is speed up weapons further for you and party but you can live with out and put said points else where and max everything in your 3rd job skill book cept speed infusion ofcourse, hope that helps. Fellow Thunder Breaker feels your pain.

Fellow Thunder Breaker feels your pain." Did you even read the above two posts? SI speeds your attacks up too. It's a very good party skill. You can max all your 2nd job skills except Booster, and go back for it (WHAT A CONCEPT!) in 3rd job since you won't need Shockwave for anything.
