Huge unexplainable lag

Since I've had this computer I've never had any lag problems with maple story ever. This baby could take the ch1 fm during primetime. Since the patch I've been having huge lag. I know what you're thinking: "It's because of the rush of players to play Cygnus Knights," but I didn't have any problems when pirates came out, and there was more people on then. Anyone having similar experiences?

i know me too even if i train nowhere close to vic or any PQ sites, i still lag when picking up etc.

In the FM, I noticed that it was slightly laggier before. During the 1st hour of the patch at the Ereve training places, it was so laggy!

there's something wrong with teh new patch i've been laggin too lately, no idea why then again, bera is suddenly highly populated. same with scania and windia

Windia got the "Highly Populated" mark And I've experienced the same problems as TS.

Sir, you are WRONG. When pirates came out, the servers were not full like it is now. (I'm in Broa), and EVERY channel was almost full yesterday. This lag is definitely because of the influx of players making knights.

When pirates came out the servers WERE full. You're playing a mid-sized world. We're playing the two most popular servers (scania and bera). Anyways yeah I've been having that crappy lag too. I think it's a problem with Nexon's host servers. Otherwise we wouldn't get that crazy message about playing in channels 10 or higher. If it was a population problem, it would be even dumber to send everyone to play in only half the size of the world.

sorta same for me, I don't know...I wasn't lagging at all when patch came out. And this is not with just maplestory but with my entire computer. It took 1 min to turn on and log on the computer. After the SC it took me 1 hour just to turn on the computer...anyone care to explain? The only thing thats on this compuer is peachtree and maplestory.

lol, there is like an invasion of ppl in windia, i cant even play cuz the huge lag, i dont live in USA and my internet is very bad so, i got a lot of lag...

Im in demethos and in CPQ I get major lag spikes every 30 seconds that last for 30 seconds, then im fine, I can see people moving, talking, killing monsters, etc. But I cant say anything/ kill anything/ affect anything during lag which is VERY annoying. U Broa ppl think u have it bad, the Demethos server is new so its smallest. Whatever lag u have, double that, and thats what Im getting >.<
