The Thank You Thread returns! For the short while I�ve been on Basil, I�ve had the opportunity to participate in one of the few Thank You Threads made by Shroomsly. It was something I really enjoyed, so when he approached me not too long ago, asking if I would make the next Thank You Thread, I gladly accepted the honor. So here goes� How to It's pretty straightforward, just write up and post a list of all the Basilers you wish to thank, for any old reason you feel they're deserving. I�d like to thank� • Shroomsly for not only giving me the opportunity to carry on this tradition, but also putting up with the roadblocks and procrastination that delayed the creation of this thread. In addition, you�ve been a constant source of positivity and community spirit on the site, being the kind of Basiler I�ve always admired and sought to be. • smiles1337 for being an amazing friend. I can trust you with absolutely anything and you�ve always been forgiving of my mistakes and faults. More than that, you were another role model of mine with your constant positive attitude and kind treatment of other users, regardless of what they had done. • Novelist for being, by far, my closest friend. You�ve always been there when I needed to talk something out and I�ve had no trouble sharing anything and everything with you. You�ve forgiven me each time I messed up, which happened fairly often in our friendship. Most of all, I�d like to thank you for letting me get to know you, you�ve been one of the people I�ve enjoyed getting to know the most. • COChaos for giving me possibly the best compliment I�ve ever received, it was a shocking yet delightful surprise. You�re another of the Basilers I look up to for their community spirit, and I�ve immensely enjoyed the projects you�ve churned out so far. Yet again, I�m thanking somebody for being forgiving, haha. But you really have put up with my conversational faults well. • Obtuse for being my pseudo twin. It�s almost creepy how alike we are. D: • skalz for fighting on the side of justice and truth! We always seemed to end up in the same thread, saying the same thing, whether it be about sex and gender distinctions, how futile what girls/guys want threads are, or whatever else. It�s a shame I never got to know you better, but you were yet another Basiler who taught me about the site as a community (as well as teaching me that girls have 3 holes! Woah, haha xD). • LowWillpower for being an unexpected(!) friend. Our offtopic conversation brigade is immense fun, and I totally wouldn�t be comfortable being a part of something like that if it weren�t for you teaching me to just relax and enjoy Basil. And a quick thanks for all the Maple tech help, even though it didn�t pan out. xP • ramunesin for the many amazing manga recommendations as well as your entertaining threads. Oh jesus, if I do this it will take forever. I remember last time I remember having one of these it's one reason I started talking to Danny. Anyways, I think I'll edit the names in, and it might take awhile. I dunno where to start. -looks at whos online- Nuwen: for being a great friend. You're always there, even if I rarely need you to be, I know you are. Also, thanks for being my boredom buddy. Lanique: for being my friend and twin and soulmate even though we don't get along at all. Seriously, I have yet to figure out how we haven't completely got mad and shut each other out yet. Smiles1337: always being nice, even when you're being a "jerk". Even when we insult each other it doesn't seem mean. Southpaw: For being in the off-topic brigade and just wasting time talking to me. It's pretty good times. Coffee: for having a deeper voice then me. Also for leaving your caps lock on making you really hardcore. charmer: for being completely cold to most of the things I say. Seriously, on basil you seem so much of a downer, but off basil you're not a bad guy. Skye09: for helping me know a lot more about computers, and for wasting time laughing at all the "awesome" advice on basil. OldMan: for being pretty cool, sometimes. Misacorp: for giving me perma-voice, and being the best mod ever. DevilOfRoses: for being awesome, even though we really only started talking recently. Also, for getting me to play MS with a bunch of people, as short lived as it was. lilbabyviet: for being funny sometimes, and only half-knowing who I am. Fade2BlacK: for being subtle yet hardcore. My Memory: for making me forget who else I was gonna say while I was writing this. Seriously, if I see someone post and I didn't list them I'm gonna feel bad. Everyone else who I forgot: seriously, don't take it personally if I forgot you. I'm going directly off who I saw. This could basically include everyone who is remotely nice to me, has a good attitude, helps others, or anything. I think most people go here. Alright, that didn't take as long as I was expecting. Maybe I just can't write a lot about people.
