The Kakashi Gaiden Arc has been animated in Naruto Shippuuden in the two new episodes 119 and 120. The Arc focuses on how Kakashi derived his sharingan when he was younger. Yeah watched it a bit ago. It's been kind of known how Kakashi got his sharingan though. Should be an interesting arc though, seeing as how my favorite character is Kakashi.

!Spoiler Alert! this brings the question: Who is Danzo? He is suspected to be Obito since his right side is crushed but it does not explain the age difference between him and Kakashi.
