Do yourself a favour - if you're going to make a funny comic, don't do the following: -Use memes (tacky, lame jokes that only work as a fad) -Bash NEXON or Basil (for a Maple Story related comic, it's the lowest common denominator) -Use inside jokes (remember, your comics need to appeal to everyone, not just 3 guys you met online) One easy way to make a funny MS comic is to take an aspect of the game that doesn't make sense IRL and put a twist on it. A while back, I made two silly comics called "Why PvP wouldn't work in MS". Both comics started out the same way - a warrior and a bowman challenging each other to a fight and the warrior dodging the bowman's giant arrow attack. The endings were different based on things from the game. In one comic, the warrior hits the bowman, KOs him and takes all his equipment (monsters drop equips, so his opponent did as well). In the other one, the warrior lagged in the air and the bowmen left. They were simple jokes that both got big laughs =p Anyways, if you want backgrounds and already know the link to bannedstory, check their links page - it has the background links you're looking for.
