Today maplers I have seen the light for bowmen cross bowmen to be exact. I dont understand why they're not popular I mean when I reached 2nd job I put my first point in IA and I was already pwning and it only gives 84% of my damage at 1. After a few hours I have reached 37 and with 10 points in IA and 9 in mastery I was hitting well over 700 with IA and 1000+ with the added crit. And I was able to do this by just being a normal str. And in 3rd job it gets better! they get an improved 1v1 attack called Strafe and a attack that come from below called arrow eruption which I've seen in youtube videos to be very helpful. And in 4th job it gets better! they the most powerful 1v1 1 hit attack that can reach the dmg cap of 200k easy maybe even more if they raised it and they get to even double their strength with a move called sharp eyes which is highly wanted for bossing groups. And with all of these skills and attacks I still don't understand why their not popular I thought people only counted the 1 big hit and not the added together dmg of a mob attack (which I've seen people said in previous threads)

iron arrow is ok, but in 3rd job youll be relying on AE and strafe, i only use IA if i correctly place a puppet and i have a mob (i cant seem to use puppet the right way, luckily i can practice til 200...since itll never be my cause of death ^_^)

But I've noticed that Xbow populations have rose o.O I saw 3 Snipers in one day and 1 Ranger o.O

Lol, I don't mind. I think it might have something to do with the looks, but I don't know. I love it though, not only are we awsome, we are unique, and we are CHEAP. (CHEAP is for me) I just hit 4th recently. Let me tell you, I have one FP, one SE and one Piercing Arrow, and it's awsome. Really want one in DB :D then I can push monsters into/away from me and other people.

Yeah, MM are good but they're underplayed just like BM's. It's great to see their population is rising though IMO, they'll be good in large parties.

Level 1 Iron Arrow deals 122% damage now. The skill description on Maple Story is wrong, but it's right on Basil Market. lolwut, stupid, I know. Nexon/Wizet changed the skill without actually changing the description for it.

I think there are more Hunters/Rangers/BMs than XBowmen/Snipers/MMs just because of the looks. Imo Xbows are the ugliest weapons in MS. xD

BMs and Xbowmen are underplayed and always have been. The most ive seen these days are only SE mules (ugh,... those sicken me). The reason why archer class has been underplayed is the boredom of 3rd job (Strafe and AR get boring) and the fact that MMs have an xbow covering their faces. But yeah, people seem to think that we have crap dmg, even tho Strafe actually hits pretty high for my lvl (I can outdmg Sins With Max SP (only reg tho and Low-Dex))
