Cygnus Advancements

What do you guys think of the way the KoCs (or CKs) get their advancements / skills? To me, it seems alot more convenient. All bosses and job quest monsters are within Ereb (and Ereb is just two minutes away from Ellinia). If you haven't read about their advancements, I'll do my best to summarize it below. Keep in mind, though, I'm a GMS player. I'd appreciate it if anyone from MSea or KMS could correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks First Job Advancement Train from levels 1~10 in the Ereb training grounds, then go talk to the various KoC job instructors. They're all in one place in the main town, so no traveling is needed. Easier to weight out the pros / cons, too. Second Job Advancement At Ereb, talk to your appropriate job NPC. (S)he'll direct you to a certain map that's not too far from the training grounds. Just like the adventurer job advancement, you'll need to slay monsters and collect 30 etc. drops. However, you're now collecting a flag-like item (Proof of Test) instead of dark marbles. Here's a video (youtube). Third Job Advancement This advancement requires a dark crystal, but there is no quiz. No traveling between continents, either. This (youtube) illustrates it pretty well. He gets lost while looking for the boss, though, so the actual fight doesn't take place until around 3:50. Here is what he looks like. Fourth Job Advancement? Yes. You read that correct. The Knights of Cygnus do in fact have a 4th job advancement, but I don't think they stand to gain anything from it other than a new medal. Some, though, like this (youtube) poor girl may have a hard time advancing. It's a level 140 boss with 9.3m HP, and a nasty reflect skill. This is what the Black Witch looks like. Acquiring Skills These are fairly straightforward. After a brief conversation, you go and defeat a nerfed version of a boss. In this (youtube) video of a Dawn Warrior, he acquired advanced combo by killing a weakened Leviathan. All credits go to Maple's StrategyWiki and the respective videos' owners.

Do Cygnus characters have class names for each advancement? Or do you start as a Dawn Warrior etc and your class name never changes?

Wait , you know that at level 4 or 5 you can do a quest. Talk to this certain bird, and it will give you this huge talk, just hold "Enter" for about two minutes and I leveled up to 9 that way.

However, you do get a new medal at each advancement. The color changes, depending what job you are. @Above, I'll definitely keep that in mind when I'm training mine. Thank you for sharing xD.

dontnyou hav to answer some questions or something?or do you just accept the quest listen to a dialogue and then finish the quest?
