Could I make a Decent Slinger?

Well I know that slingers have low damage at the begginning so I was wondering if I could make a decent slinger with... zhelm 9dex earrings 10att wg 6 dex purple snowshoes 8dex cape 15dex sauna and maybe a dep star. I'll prob have 80mil left over for bullets/pots. So would I be doing decent damage at around lvl 50?

Well, let's get this out of the way right now. Double Shot sucks, period. Invisible Shot is actually the strongest attacking move you have 2nd job, aside from Recoil Shot. That being said, do not be fazed by low DS damage. Leveling at 2nd job levels is done almost exclusively through mobbing with Invisible Shot, so Double Shot really doesn't do much but pick stuff off. You will be training at Retz, then Magatia, then MP3, so no need for a single-enemy attack. With that funding, your damage will be fine.

Yeah you'll do well. If you merchant with that 80m left over as you level, You might be able to get a decent Gun later on. Unfortunately as good as those equips are, a lot is dependant on your Gun's ATT. Important Edit!: My slinger is level 44, it has a purple level 35 Gun with 54 att (above average att for a level 50 gun), and I don't have WGs on it at all, and I do more than 700 total on Robos.

I have pretty much the same equips as you listed.. and i have pretty decent damage so I say go for it!
