The battle is really poor vs rich, RuneScape being the poor and MapleStory being the rich. The battle is really simlair to a book called "The Outsiders" Runescape being the greasers and MapleStory being the socials The battle is really about good vs evil, RuneScape being the heros and MapleStory being the villans.

Please, just close this thread. I'm sure if we looked back at the history of threads like these, we'd have over 100. Oh, and I've read 'The Outsiders" and it has no correlation to runescape/maplestory at all . Incase you didn't know, in runescape you can become a member and by doing so you can pick this substance called flax and sell it for huge amounts of gp, if in great quantaties, and get rich that way. Not to mention new quests (where you inherit items....that you can sell), castle wars, new land is open for you to explore, new skills, new training areas, etc... The list goes on and on. Ehh, I can't help but adding. Membership for runescape players costs nothing but $5 a month, whereas the average mapler (probably) spends around $10-15 in NX....a month. Incase you don't understand, we maplers spend so much more money for so little reward. btw. /end thread

Yes, I admit the graphics are rough, but what I like about runescape is the maturity lvl of players. The reason most maplers are so young is because that is who nexon attracts in their commercials. They put up 'cute' little characters running around 'having fun' and it's easier for Nexon to scam younger kids into buying NX, compared to older kids ages 15+ who actually have common sense and limit the amount of NX they spend.
