| Which place is better for training from 8x-12x? |

 | Newties is better until you max fire, after which Nightshadows is much better. Killing them in their cave with Air Strike at low 12x is just as good, if not better then newtie parties. |

| Newties Save TONS of pots as to night shadows. |

 | You can't loot at newties, so you are bount to lose money. nightshadows, on the other hand, have badges you can turn in to get money and drop normal mesos/items. Plus, training at nightshadows is recommended for lv 92+, at which point you start killing 2 newties at a time, and the first newtie can auto-atk you every time it spawns before you can freeze it. BAM 2.2k dmg [for me]. Here's a bowman guide to training there: http://www.sleepywood.net/forum/showthread.php?t=1522799 As you can see, there are sniping spots to avoid taking damage. training there is only recommended if you max/have lv 26 fire, so you can KB a mob and hit the closest one with burst fire. Later on, once you are a killing machine, you might want to go to the nighthshadow map within CWK Keep itself. EDIT: here's a video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T9zzauzvqLw (youtube) As you can see, since we have recoil, we will burn less pots then SimplyBowman did [they were all from crossing mobs], and there were plenty of ropes to use Wings off of as well. HP pot usage will be a minimum in that map. EDIT2: Here's a wraith of night training video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u7LjrnO19C8&feature=related (youtube) We will burn much less pots then the bowman there is, since we will macro fire/burst so constant KB + burst, and recoil if they get too close. This map is when you can easily kill Nightshadows, probably lv 110+. Don't quote me on the number though, could be wrong. EDIT3: [last one], If you max/26 fire, gobies are an option too |

I dunno if you've done nightshadows or not, but me a well above average outlaw did TERRIBLE there. I meen terrible. Try them for yourself why don't you? Newties is better all the way. And if you look at the x-bow one, 5% an hour at 105 is terrible. I'm still getting 14% an hour SOLO at newites. |

You don't get hit if you are just hitting the 1 newtie from behind the rope. But if you start atking 2 newties [as is recommended 9x+], every time the one in the front spawns, it auto-hits the player. lmao. 'Get a pet if not boo hoo?' I have better things to put my money into then a pixel pet. MTS would get me more money for the same price as the pet. iShootyou said: "ty 4 the wall of text, it wuz very helpful to me How do you get past all those crimson guardians to get to "The Wrath of Night"?" Your selcome, crimson guards hit 3.3k, by the time you will be proficient enough to train at wraith of night [i currently don't plan to go there until lv 105+ at least], you will have enough HP. Right now w/ just a tube and 40 HP shield i have 2,553 HP [or something close to it, its like 2.55xk], I should easily have 3.3k HP by lv 105+. As of now, i have a good CB friend that goes there and i family tele to him alot, or if he's not on, i cc and find a HB'r on lower ascent and get some HB. W/ HB i already have 3.6k HP. |

Just a tip about the newties... If you have another char in the map, the newtie doesn't auto-target you, so if you can get a friend or a mule to afk there, then you'll be fine. I'd stick to newts/himes rather than nightshads. |

 | =/ ok. The Cavern of Honor map has sniping spots, which lower pot usage trememdously since we have float to fly on top of Mob's with [for the bottom plat, going from right to left sniping spot]. And wouldn't himes be worst? Lag for 1 second and BAM, your gone. Overall: Newties, you can train from 8x-12x, but nightshadows are mostly for 92+. Plus, with the fire/ice build, you have more training spots then purely Nightshadows, gobies, Himes [w/ priest] are other options. You can also go newties w/ fire/ice build. That option isn't there with the newties build. |

LOL at that. Are you serious? Have you tried that for yourself? I swear, some people need to try these things before they just spill out ideas from their heads. This technique is pointless when you can Ice + Burst instead. You'd get hit way too many times doing Ice + Fire. That technique isn't in any guide because it's the most ridiculous thing you can do. OT: Again, Newtie all the way. |

Frozen was just saying that with the flame+ice build, it is still possible to go to newties and get decent experience. If you were to follow the newties build, you cut out all of the flame+ice training maps. I went with the flame+ice build and doing newts was fine. 10 level difference between maxing octo and flame doesn't exactly affect you much. Only an idiot would be using the flame+ice combo at newts... really that's just retarded. Although i do agree with the fact that you can lag at himes and die, that's just a risk factor that anyone who goes there has to deal with. I was at himes for 10-15 levels ish? 95-110 i think and the experience was ridiculously fast. |

There's only a spawn of 2 and even in parties, they don't mob to more then 4+ [when burst's DPS is outdmg'd by ice/fire] usually. I meant you still have the newties option. Octopus doesn't really help alot there, recasting it eveyr 10 seconds seems like a waste of time, you have 3k-4k hitting burst fire shots then a 2k hitting octopus, so you won't be far behind the newtie build people. kak828 said: " you wouldn't be using flame+ice combo at newties. HotGolfer64 said: " Yeah, I'm 107, and I don't even have 3k HP yet (even with a 25 HP maple earing)." I have around 300 in HP equips, and wow. Well, cc and get HB =/. Or there's always gobies =/. EDIT: You can still join newtie parties 100+ [around when gobies will probably get slow], as long as you have 2.8k HP [HP equips pl0x?] Newtie parties will be good until you have 3.4k HP, enough to survive Crimson Guards and get into CWK w/o any help . Want to know the best part? Octopus with its measly 2-3k dmg is useless when your not camping at one spot sniping newties, [it might help a little], so your almost just as good off as those who went the newties build. |
