| This may be retarded, but its how i feel about the constant hatred towards us healers. It is of my understanding that many people hate, loathe, and despise healers. Many different classes clash between what is needed in a PQ, a Group quest, an event, even boss runs. Many melee attackers feel that they must get a constant supply of healing during any fight. Many people take advantage of what they do. Holy Symbol for extra exp, to healing to save money, even budding bishops, just to take an advantage, leech, being one of them. The question remains, why do some healers ask for a favor, then never return it. Take warriors for an instance. During a time or LPQing, and other PQs, it is the warrior with the WORST attitude. �HEALS�, they yell, or �HEAL ME� they scream. When a healer does not heal, and perhaps one of them dies, it is usually the healers that are blamed. Eventually, the healer moves past it, and arrives at level 70. Ah, a priest they are. Problem, they cannot solo, therefore making leveling hard and arduous. Therefore, priests must leech to 90 or 100, maybe even 120. Bishop they await. How did the priest get here? A warrior, an assassin, a bandit, another form of a magi, or a bowman. They leech off of them. However, some priests are rude and obnoxious. Some don�t return the favor. Some ignore them, ignoring the righteous deed done to them, and carry on, as if they don�t exist. Pissed off, they may be. Yet many of them continue the journey, an arduous one. When one player that has helped the priest is in need of help, some of them say, NO, or PAY UP, or straight up ignore them. Rude and obnoxious they may be, but dreading them is the past. From past experiences, I can say, 90% that being a healer before a bishop is hell. Rude players, KSers, we all face that, but it is the healers that face it most. People don�t recognize us as a player who contributes a lot to this game. They see it as, �Just another healer that could be of use to us.�, or �Just someone else we don�t need.� On the contraire, I beg to differ. We do NOT contribute? The healing, the extra EXP, the life saving moments when facing ZAKUM, they don�t count? This is why I believe that bishops ignore the people, because of past experiences. To them, this is payback, revenge after being hovered over by a rude and obnoxious player. It is no longer a fight of what the good do-ers did, and what they didnt do. It is how they were treated in previous levels, and therefore, to the best on my opinion, this is revenge and payback. Priests, Bishops, Clerics, They are constantly being hovered over, people breathing down their necks. Whether it's," Dude, WTF heal me, HS me, Bless me, Dispel Me" or " Dude, How could you let me die" or Just go STRAIGHT to the DK's, Bowman's, Sins, CB's Attitude. Priests are, in a way, independent. We despise and LOATHE hover-ers. We HATE when any class player yells at us because we didn't heal for a second, and they didn't have a HP pot, therefore dying. It's no |
