| Hi all. I just finished maxing booster, and put a few more points in seal because a friend of mine told me that Slow does not work on bosses, especially Bigfoot, who is hella fast and I was looking forward to slowing that basta*d down! =[ Was my friend BSing me? He's never tried it; he said he heard it from a friend of a friend, so his real source is unknown. I've used it on Lord Pirate and Headless Horseman before, as well as Captain Latanica; I see the animation on them as well as on me when I use it, but I'm not sure if it actually slows them down... because I only have a point in it xD So I was just wondering if anyone has maxed slow and can confirm which bosses it works on? And it you can use it on them for a total of two times? Thanks. If it doens't work, I'm going to put more points in resistance and seal since they're the only things left. |

Or maybe I can just do BPQ and screenie each one, then show you the link for EACH boss that gets Slowed (I can even go up to Zakum and do it THERE if you want; I just didn't do ZPQ yet) in a single post? Please show me where in Slow's description it says that it does not work on boss monsters. Because I've been doing it since I first put points in it. Edit: And do you REALLY want to see how I am if I take you as if you ARE attacking the Magician class? If you want to know, the last guy is now swimming with the fishies." Shhh get rid of the line before the edit. It doesn't say anywhere that other status's don't affect bosses |

 | slow is more worth having for f/p mages than i/l's, simply because of mist. it has some uses to i/l mages, but not as much as it would when it comes to general training. id rather stop a monster completely than just slowing it down. |

| SerenadeBass said: " Shhh get rid of the line before the edit. It doesn't say anywhere that other status's don't affect bosses" Slow's description: Temporarily slows down the opponents around you. Can't use it on them twice at once, and affects only 6 enemies per attack. Proof that they would say whether or not it would affect a boss is written on Seal's description: Seals up the enemies around you for a certain amount of time. Once sealed up, the monsters can't use attacking skills, but the skill does not work on boss monsters. Therefore one cannot prove theoretically that Slow does not affect boss monsters, and ones that try to do it in person will get pwned in the face. |

But what about on boss runs? wouldnt being able to slow it down be super valuable? |

There are several bosses that you can just solo. And all of them will benefit from Slow (except Pianus). And honestly right now, I use Slow regularly while training. It helps me build mobs a bit more effectively (unless I can fully snipe the platform; in that case I leave them "unslowed" so that they gather faster). |
