Difference between a Wand and a Staff?

They're basically the same, excluding the Elemental Wands/Staffs. Ele Wands don't require luck, while the staffs do. But for all other staffs/wands, they're the same. It's just a matter of what you prefer. Some prefer using long, chunky staffs, while others prefer to use simple wands.

For the lower leveled ones, wands are faster (fast), and staffs are stronger in both m.atk and w.atk. In the same level range, that is.

Another difference: For most wands/staves that require luk, staves require LUK +3 higher than the lvl, whereas wands require LUK +2 higher than the lvl.

Besides what has been said, the hitbox on your character (the area an enemy can hit to damage you) is bigger with a staff most of the time. And big bang is said to cast faster with wands. I don't have a character that level, so I can't test that.

One thing that nobody has mentioned yet, which is very important, is that staves are simply sexier than wands. /runs above: actually, most staves have a slower casting speed than wands. The evil wings is an exception, of course.
