Latin Spanish or Spain Spanish? To be more specific: which is taught more in schools? The story behind my question: I'm going into 9th grade and I picked Spanish. My parents want me to get a head start, so I decided to download Rosetta Stone's Language learning program. Now they give me the two spanish choices.

Well, the Latin countries are right below the U.S., but of course the Spain Spanish is more common.

Latin Spanish, of course. I mean, it's our neighbor. Would you rather be friends with your neighbor and well communication or 1 SMALL town across 3 miles? I live in New York AND the USA, if that helps =D

Spain spanish is deemed the "correct" language, if anything go with that. Essentaly there both one in the same, though latin spanish has mixed english words in its vocabulary for some of ther words. Either one will be fine, only a couple of words will be different.
