well the laptop i have is a Vista Studio Home Premium (something like that...sorry) but when its running maple is runs fine the only problem is that while im in the game the screen flashes or flickers every now and then. where as on the desktop it doesnt. i just want the maple on my laptop to run like on the desktop without the flickering (if it can)

That happened to me. And seems there is no way to fix that. Try updating your graphic drivers.
ToxicWolf 07/21/09 + PM | QUOTE | PERMALINK | REPORT

It's not Vista's fault.

if your graphics card is an nvida one, then you have the same problem I have. Chances are you get a little pop-up saying that your display drivers crashed but recovered. Good luck getting that fixed, I have yet to get it to go away...

realtnc420 said: "Vista runs maple just fine." The TS just said that, he's having trouble with the screen flashing. @TS Update your graphics card/drivers like others said. Fixed my problem.

Instead of blaming Vista the first chance you got, have you ever thought it was your computer hardware fault? Since if it was really an Vista problem, it would happen to me or any of the other Vista user? >> Anyways, to find out what's your graphic card, go to start > type in dxdiag > click on the display tab. It's located there. Edit: Oh, you are already updating it. I guess you found it out?
