Im currently lvl 66, and will be a CB in a few days. I want to know which would be better for training. Also how does Band of Theives work. At max level it says 5 others selves will attack. What if there is only 1 monster will they all just attack 1 monster or will i only attack it. Also will i be able to train on gobys with lvl 1 ME? How much money does it take to kill a pack of them, and how much exp will i gain for each pack?

Drop 1k 7 or 8 times then explode, it'll do around 17k dmg

A random 1 will come out attack the 1 monster. ME training is dangerous with out MG. If you go the path of assaulter do it in your 80 where ludi, and himes become a pain.

Go BoT. It's a great (and your first) mob attack. If there is only 1 monster only you will attack, if there are two monster you + one other selve will attack etc. You could train at Gobies with lvl 1 ME but I recommend having MG as well. If you do decent damage just assaulter the house and only ME the gobies. With level 3 ME that'll cost you about 10*380 mesos. Although there are a lot places were you could train like now. I still trained at FoG (long time ago), but WR's is a nice option too. 70 - 1 Assaulter (decent at level 1 + good for movement) 71 - 1 ME, 1 BoT, 1 Chakra (you wanna have some skills right?) 72 - 2 Chakra, 1 MG (you'll be able to fight stronger monsters as mg will reduce the damage received by 50%) Then max BoT, get MG to 6 so you don't have to recast every 30 sec, max Assaulter, max MG, max ME etc. If you want to you can sacrifice a level to get ME to 3 and put 1 into PP, but it isn't very usefull. Hope I helped you ;).

I'd go with BoT, because its your very first mob move, and it does wonders when its level 18+; if theres only 1 monster, it will only hit it once *some random character will pop up*. If you want to go bomb gobies, I highly recommend you get Meso Guard (MG) first; they can deal alot of damage without it on. 20 x 999 should do the trick (with level 1 ME) on the house and the gobies that come out of the house; if memory serves, each goby gives 1.2k exp. (you could have looked it up in the monster database thats up on the top of this site)

Well many people just use 1kx16, 10k for the house, 6k for the gobies. I also don't really like assaulter. You'll be training at Typhons with your maxed BoT. You should get a good level for Mesos Explosion or max it before you max assualter. I'm pretty sure I still went to Typhons before I maxed Assaulter and Mesos Explosion AND Mesos Gaurd. Mesos Explosion makes it really good EXP. I boom 4k x 11 coins with maxed mesos explosion to kill 6 typhons.

With lvl 1 ME and lvl 1 MG i trained at elders (lvl 100 monster) that deal 2.4k dmg, i trained there for 10 Levels in a day, so i guess BoT and Mg is better then assaulter in the first, because you wont train at Big monster untile late 90's and you wont get hit by them so just max Bot and Mg first, thats what i did and its pretty fast levling.( to train at elders you need 1.4k x 10 bags with lvl 1 ME. They gived me 0.23 in 2x, so yeah pretty good exp when you can kill a mob of 6 in less then 10 second.

BoT all the way. Once it is maxed typhoons are your friend.

first of all dont gobies. just mpq. second get 1 to assaulter (get it to 9 after mg if you feel that you need more power for it) (helps you alot when youre grinding cause you save time from jumping up and down to get to other places. get 6 to mg (that means get 3 chakra first) then start BOT to max. THEN you max assaulter. YOU CAN put into ME but thats only if you wanna get into mpq (need 3 ME to bomb franky for 350k) dont get pickpocket. once you can hit 5 with BOT go to stormbreakers. your exp will flyy high but your pots will go down (its less money spent than gobies and faster exp imo)

Heres what I did personally and it worked out great, but im pretty heavily funded: Level 70: 1 ME Level 71: 1 Assaulter 2 Chakra Level 72: 1 Chakra 2 Meso Guard 73-83: Band Of Thieves At level 70 if you go ME like I did, bomb Gobies. I dropped 16 bags of 1k on the house. 10 to blow it up, and 6 to kill the 6 fish. Stay at Gobies till 72/73 Elder Wraiths, go bomb them when you get Meso Guard. Drop 10 bags of 16k? Somthing to that affect.

I did and feel the same as the person above me. I trained with ME from 71-95 however so it didn't make a whole ton of difference to me. If you have the funds you should train with ME, just go to elder wraiths and you'll be fine. Here's the build I went with, you get a little bit of everything: 70: 1 Assaulter (for mobility) 71: 3 ME (for ME training) 71: 3 Chakra (prereq for MG) 72: 3 MG (a must for cb's) 73: 2 MG & 1 PP (this level's more optional, getting 5 MG makes it last almost a minute and getting 1 PP is always fun) From there you'll want to max out bot so that in your lower to mid 80's you can begin training at typhons. You can always just bomb for quick exp at any time using this build as well, but from what I've seen (unless the training spots have changed) places like spiders and kents will end up burning as much or more of your mesos because of pot usage than bombing will. That changes after you get to typhons however, they're the biggest pushovers in maple lol

(even with a Bishop, only at Hime parties MG costs you money!) I heard Nightshadows are a good alternative for Typhons at my level as well. (but my damage isn't good enough)
