For example: WOW,GuildWars, Maplestory, and any other MMORPGS I never said, i was going to play Guildwars or WOW, but it was up there to keep you inform on how well this computer is Btw, I know building a comp is cheaper, but i dont care as much.

" I welcome you to build a computer for $160 Like the hermit said, the processor is ok ( its ok, there are much better CPUs on the market ), the ram is overkill since you wont even use half of that without superfetch. But the graphics, just plain suck. Games like maplestory will run fine, but thats about it. The reason they sell computers like this is because its a marketing scheme. Quadcore means the CPU has at least some power to it, 8GB of ram, for all the ram whores who think more ram = more performance ( which it doesnt ), and then they skimp on the board and graphics, since they can and its not meant for gaming. Its meant for your typical home user. The idea of putting a 9800GT is a bit off, since as you said he will need to add a new PSU in ( which will void your warranty ), plus, its a 10 inch card IIRC, which means its likely too long for that case.

I cant max out the shadows on Wow with a dedicated midrange GPU, but you can run 3 instances completely maxed out with an integrated GPU thats 2 years older than mine, not to mention substantially weaker? I call BS.

i only got 9600 GT ( YES I KNOW ITS NOT GOOD ) but i think its okay for me.
