Okay, just 2 weeks ago, my friends got me a female fighting fish (AKA Betta) for my male betta. Anyhow, they laid eggs and whatnot, but I couldn't grow brine shrimp fast enough to feed the fry, so they all died This week, they laid eggs again (wow o_O) and I came prepared with the shrimp, but they live in SALT water. My bettas are strictly limited to fresh water, so how do I feed the shrimp to the bettas? PS: they can go right through fish nets, the brine shrimp are a fraction of a millimeter. PSS: Some people don't understand what I'm trying to pose, so here's the summary: How do I feed saltwater organisms to freshwater fry, without disrupting the salinity of the freshwater?

I'm pretty sure the shrimp can last at least an hour in fresh water.

do u know how to hatch brine shrimps? u put eggs in an upside down bottle with air stone in it, fill it with water+some salt and put in the eggs then turn on the air pump. after hatching, filter out the shrimps and feed it to the Betta. i don't think betta fry is big enough for brine shrimp try hikari first bites

You karate chop the shrimp, then finish it. After, you wash it. Perfect, no?
