Low Str Corsair

What's considered low Str for a Corsair? People told me that regular Str Corsairs are the best, but they never told me why. Explanations please? Thanks :D

i heard that the extra stat points in dex doesnt help much in later levels.

Im gonna make a 70 str base corsair. I think its the best cuz you can easily get the lvl 100 gun(70+15str zhelm+10 str cape+dep star).

Reg = use normal gun, doesn't matter how much STR you have STRless = use Maple gun, 20 STR Reg is better.

would it be better for a corsair to cap str at 65ish then go with overall or cap str at 50ish and wear 12str top and 12 dex bottom. im undecided whether to go with look or lower str

well im not corsair yet but i only have 60 base str and once i get my MoN ill have 101 str so dont go much higher then 60, 70 is probibly ok to

how much are 25 dex overalls? btw is it a sauna or the pirate overall?

A 30stat top/bottom is much cheaper than a 30 stat sauna. In fact, a 20 stat top/bottom is cheaper than a 20stat robe. For example, my 16STR top and 13dex bottom came to a grand total of 200m. Admittedy, this was about 100m cheaper than it should have been, but that still takes it to 300m. A 29Stat sauna would set you back a nice 1b. Until maker is released and people can make 13+Stat clean Pirate overalls, top/bottom is the most efficient torso/leg setup for the gunslinger class.
