Which graphics card to get?

Instead of spending all my money on a new computer, I'd rather buy myself a new graphics card. I'm not sure what specs to state for you guys to assist me in deciding, so please mention it. www.TigerDirect.ca is the only website because that store is nearest to me.

At least state your processor, your current graphics, and maybe the age of the computer for someone to decide if it's worth getting a new graphics card.

First we need to know the make and model of your computer. Or you if you can, you can give us the case size, amperage on the +12V rail, and what kind of slots you have ( PCI, PCIe or AGP ).

If you know how, open the computer case, and take a picture. That should tell the rest of us enough information to help you.

Well, it lets us know case size, possibly PSU amperage if the picture also shows the sticker on the PSU, what type of graphics card he needs (agp, pci, pci-e), possibly the number of PCI-E rails, and now all we need to know is his budget and what he wants to do with his computer.

Hmm, it's definitely not a very good computer. I'd say the best graphics card you could get without bottlenetcking is the Geforce 9500 or Radeon HD 4650.
