nexon loves hackers or bad customer service?

after my ms friend and guildmate was hacked and robbed of all her stuff, i submitted a ticket to nexon (futher below). You think that maybe they would check the ip logs and verify that my friend was hacked, then follow the nx logs they have to see where it all went. You think they would be interested in finding out who the hackers are and banning them, but instead they lost a paying customer...make that two now (i still intend to play). if they weren't going to tell me anything about the attackers fine, i can understand the privacy concerns. But they said nothing about looking into the claim, they were not interested in looking at the fact she was hacked, they were not interested in identifying and blocking the hackers computers and accounts, nope they just said don't report a hacker again. I guess they would rather have hackers targetting their system and abusing and scaring off their customer base and our friends, than maybe doing a few minutes research, find evidence of, and ban evildoers and make the system cleaner and a safer place to invest entertainment money into. I try to get her to report so that the hacker can't target others, but she still doesn't feel comfortable in filing a report. all Nexon had to say is that they'd investigate, for privacy reasons we wont tell you more-thats all they really had to say.They didn't need to say, if you report again you'll be abusing the ticketing system. A company can only be negligent for so long before the blood thirsty lawyers claiming to work on the plantifs behalf uses the strong arm of the law to enriches his own pocket book-and keep the victims poor. My friend isn't the type to sue, she isn't even the type to file a report to go after her attacker. She doesn't feel comfortable in filing a ticket. My friends username is [ommitted] on the [ommitted] server, I doubt she'll be compensated. But can you at least investigate where all her [ommitted] nx was spent and proceed to take appropriate action upon the beneficiaries. You naturally don't have to tell me anything for privacy, but if you could find out who the hacker is and what kind of actions were taken on them I'l gladly tell he when she starts her new account. ya i see nothing wrong with their response. your friend must not want action taken against them since she wont file a ticket. and they clearly state for HER to file a ticket regarding HER account.

My sister had a password issue a while back that was eventually fixed herself, though I logged a ticket on her behalf. They didn't do anything, though, and stuck to their privacy policy guns. I did have her secret question, though. But still, it's a good sign that they don't trust everything sent on someone else's behalf.

What do you mean they asked you that she needs to send a log. Dude, they gave me free NX after they said my Monster Book was bugged and they gave me free monster cards for my book and GAVE ME 2X DROP AND 3K MAPLE points. I was like, Nexon are you kidding me? Idk but I think the "new improved" Nexon is actually "improving".

Well, I see why you want justice for your friend. But if your friend wants to do anything about it, and if she wanted to have her account's things back real bad, she would submit a ticket. I'm not saying that you are lying about this situation, I'm simply stating that Nexon is doing their job to secure the privacy of other's accounts. They were doing the right thing when they said to get your friend to contact them for this case. You musn't expect them to give you info on her account so that you could tell her. That would be a complete breach of her account privacy, even her privacy, say, if they were to give you her birthday information. So, no, Nexon is doing their job well. If she wants her account back, she can log a ticket.

nexon are a bunch of selfish business ppl who dont care obviously about the ppl that play the game but more about the money they get
