Could this be a solution to leeching?

First of all, this is not a 'whether leeching is right or not thread'. I am just proposing a posible solution to leeching whether or not it will be put into effect. Nexon has tried before to stem the tide of leechers, one of the ways is that you must hit the monster that your party members are attacking in order to get any experience... this defeated the purpose of partying and was later removed... but if nexon really wants to stop this, why dont they simply reshape all the popular leeching maps so that its not possible to afk within the map without getting hurt or killed. Sure if somone who is training there wants to take a lil break, they would just go to another portal which could lead to a monster-free zone where it would be possible to afk...like really... its not that much of a hassle to go from one map to the other. Discuss the pros and cons of this solution.. not whether or not you want it put into effect or if nexon would ever do it.. =/

It's not easy reshaping every leeching map. And plus don't you think it would be annoying if you wanted to talk to your friends on your buddylist but can't do it without losing your map?

leeching exist because a wealthy part of the maple community does not like training remove it and it only really hurts nexon there is no to do anything about it if you are not comfortable with the idea of leeching then don't do it but they should not screw up popular maps because of a few people

so your implying that they should make double the maps and overload the server? like for each monster map there is a non monster map?

So you're saying that if a person is afk on perhaps a skele map, nobody would touch a monster since a person is afk on a rope for an unknown amount of time?... cmon... even when people are training there are people who try to steal maps.

It's a possible solution, but if they just reshaped the party exp share formula a little based on level and exp contributed. For example, if 2 people are in a party and more than 85% of the experience is coming from one member, then the other player should have all leech exp cut off for an hour, or something like that. By doing that, they can't leech, but normal partying people are unaffected, and they can't just reset it every time it turns off by unpartying and repartying.
