What do they excactly do ? And why are they so redicilous expensive ?

Chaos scroll alters item for better or worse. White scroll you use when you scroll an item, if scroll fails slot is not lost, does not save the 50% boom factor of dark scrolls though.

Chaos scrolls: Can increase stats of your item by 5, or decrease them by 5. So when you use one, 60% chance of working and the item's stats can be altered either (+5,4,3,2,1,0,-1,-2,-3,-4,-5) White scroll: When you use a scroll and it fails, a white scroll doesn't make you lose the slot. The chance of an item bIowing up when you use a dark scroll still applies however.
