I'm pretty sure that everyone has seen this by now, but does it ever annoy you when a smega comes up saying : B>10+ attack SCGs, or 8 attack PAC! or something else like facestompers or maple shields? There is absolutely nothing wrong with these items, what is wrong is that i've seen a lvl 8x CB who can do waaaaay more damage than me cuz of his SCGs, Attack Shield, Facestompers, PAC, ridiculously scrolled dagger, etc. etc. These items have redefined damage for classes as if you don't have all that stuff your damage SUCKS. I've seen lvl 3x and 4x chars walking around with these equips and it just really dissapoints me. What Happened? What happened to earining scrolls, equips, and all that from drops, forging, scrolling? This annoy you too? (gotta add this cuz of some of the comments) if you earned the mesos yourself and want to buy the stuff that is okay, so is getting it from a friend.

it sounds like jealous, hope not but in anycase, start merching, i quited maple like 4 months ago, so, i dont know how to merch atm(wich items) but try merching, then you can get those nice items, and have a better damage

You're supposed to trade items. That is why Basilmarket exists, to help people trade/sell/buy items.

If everyone were to only play to out damage each other then all the Newb's would have alot harder time since in order to be considered "decent" now you need all these equips.. Then again each to their own, i play for the soical aspect and to have fun pqing.. damge to me is just an unnecessary aspect of the overall joy i get from this game.

Honestly, I never really care. Starting from Beta, I saw the uprising of the importance of damage. Many people speculated that and took it far seriously. I was just one of those people who just didn't really care. lol

Win Win Lose situation, Lose ---> Money EDIT: Don't mind people making fun of your damage, they're just no life people who spend there days trying to earn the gear they have now. Rather than studying for school and having a successful education and career.

What does level have to do with anything? It's very possible they have a main, earned there items with their main and than made a new character.
