A lukless mage with a lv130 elemental wand. Cost of my "perfect" timeless mage First, to make the timeless staff you need: 14x High Grade Monster Crystal B - 1,400 etc items from a 111-120 monster 20x High Grade Monster Crystal A - get 2,000 etc items from a lv121+ monster 3x Rock of Time - PINK BEAN ONLY DROP, who knows how much this will cost. 100 saphires - 150m* 100 wisdom crystals - 150m* *Black crystals went up to 1m each when balanced fury was released, so I am guessing it will be a bit higher for maker. So that is like 300m + 3 pink bean drops of unknown price. Just for the staff. And the other items: Shoes: 100 wisdom, 100 luk. Another 300m. Overall: 100 wisdom (150m) and a rock of time Gloves: 100 wisdom (150m) and a rock of time So we are at a total of 900m + 5 items that only drop from pink bean. (And you have to kill thousands of lv 121+ monsters, but that only wastes time, not money so I won't include it) Not even close to finished. Now you have to level up the items. The chance that you will get the stats that I have used in my example are around 1 in a billion. (900mil + 5 time stones) x 1billion = 900 quadrillion mesos + 5 billion pink bean drops. Good luck with that? Timeless Stats Timeless mage: Lv 150 • Base = 697INT, 75LUK • +22luk HT pendant, +15luk zhelm = 120luk • 8luk Blue Elemental Shoes = 128luk • 15int zhelm • 22int HT pendant • 16int/5M.atk timeless glove (6int base, +5int/5ma, +5int maker) • 18int timeless overall (8int base, +5int timeless, +5int maker) • 9int/1ma Blue Elemental Shoes (4int/3luk/1ma base, +5/5 maker) • 158m.atk/15int timeless staff (135 base + 20/10 timeless + 3/5 maker) = 956 magic total Lukless Stats Lukless mage: Lv 150 • Base = 768INT, 4LUK • 15int zhelm • 22int HT pendant • 1int yellow work glove • 4int dark starlight (can be worn with zhelm/HT) • 4int yellow snow shoes • 145m.atk elemental wand = 959 magic total Comparison with scrolling Timeless mage: 959 magic clean +14int helm (+7 70%) +4int/4m.atk glove (+4 60%) +18int overall (+9 60%) +12m.atk/6int staff (+6 60%) 10/8 cape 10/20 shield*** 12/20 earring*** ***Like they could even afford these after spending so much on timeless stuff... Slightly above average luck on scrolling, 1097 m.atk total. I had 1144 m.atk at 150. So yeah, timeless is horrible. Conclusion You want to be timeless? You will spend billions making, remaking, leveling, releveling, scrolling, etc, on your timeless stuff, while a lukless mage can just buy an elemental wand for 800m or so and beat your attack instantly. Conclusion: TIMELESS ITEMS SUCK. Edit: They suck for mages. Because people apparently don't realize this is the mage forum. -TLX |
