I killed one and got it. No, no I didn't. I tried to get it a few years ago...and gave up after around 10 minutes.

All I can say is go ahead and try to get one, you never know how long it'll take. I found one after killing three while trying to track a friend that spent days looking for it.

It's one of the rarest drops in the game. The likeliness that it'll drop is low enough that you could spend hours upon hours hunting for it, and still never find it. If you really wanna complete the quest, which isn't worth it in my opinion, I'd just buy the honey.
