Laptop goes weird, screen is like

My laptop lags, the screen stops and makes a weird noise like buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz... something like that Thats one of the lags. But today, the other type of lagg: I lagg the screen stops, and then a blue screen with a lot of words show up, then restart my computer. I don't know why.. Please help me.

the buzz is probably your hard drive.... idk, how old's your computer? Is it like a grinding-ish noise?

if you get the blue screen (aka blue screen of death) that means your hard drive is about to die or(which happened to me) when i installed windows 7 and tweaked it a bit i believe i editted the registry and bam, had your same problem

the blue screen is called a bsod. or blue screen of death. thats when windows has a error that it cant recover from. most of the time its from bad ram or randomly when something just messes up

don't mean to alarm you, but it's a BIOS memory problem. I suggest you do a little research on your problem specifically. What I would suggest you to do is; run a scan, using a fairly good antivirus/antispyware etc. (Microsoft Security Essentials or Windows Defender or SUPERAntiSpyware preferably). Run a FULL COMPUTER scan in SAFE MODE. (if you don't know how to access it, just restart your computer and before the windows symbol with the 5 colored flag appears, continuously press f8 until a black screen comes up saying 'run in safe mode' etc.) Run that scan and delete the viruses (if you have any) If this is not your case, I also suggest that you reformat your system. That means, install a clean version of whatever OS your computer currently has. That usually fixes the BIOS memory problem. It may be a configuration with your BIOS memory. Over time, some programs disable certain microsoft functions and change settings in your BIOS memory configuration. Just do a clean install, but ensure that you format your system into a FAT32 format. That format blocks out changes to your BIOS memory, and makes it stay clean. I had this problem too, but I was able to solve it by installing a fresh version of Windows XP Pro. and running scans using Microsoft Security Essentials afterward. sounds like a virus. use an antivirus software. malwarebytes is a great free antivirus. if it can't find anything there are two possible problems that i can think of. 1, it's not a virus, but the BIOS itself. update that. the download should be available from your computer manufacturer's website. 2, you have a rootkit type of virus. i had one a few days back. i had to go into the registry to fix that, since it killed almost every program my computer had. i don't know much about rootkits, since i just found out about them about a week ago. all i know is that they hide the virus to make it invisible to most antivirus softwares. i used GMER, a program to scan my computer and reveal any hidden viruses. google it for a download =] i hope this helps

Rootkits ARE BAD and a really bad type of virus to have in your computer's operating system. Rootkits, being terribly evil, were designed to self attach itself to your computer and make you think that it is just one of your computer's important operating files. Usually, rootkits target your 'Rundll32.exe' operating executable file. When a rootkit has found this file, it will delete it, and disguise itself as a virus name 'Rundll32.exe', once again also the same name as the original. Without the CLEAN 'rundll32.exe' file, your computer's operating system will fail to function properly. It will become more vulnerable to viruses, and allow more and more viruses to enter your computer's mainframe, via the back door. Even if you do have a good, or several good, antiviruses, it is almost impossible to delete the rootkit, selfnamed 'rundll32.exe' as it will corrupt your system further. The only way to delete a 'rundll32.exe' rootkit virus is to reformat your computer and run multiple scans DIRECTLY after you reformat, as some viruses and the rootkit, although weakened by the reformat, may still be in your computer's operating system's hidden folders. If you don't run those scans after a reformat, the rootkit will just regenerate, via access to the internet via your computer's access to the network. These guys basically stole the words out of my mouth. I recommend scanning using Malwarebytes Anti-malware, SuperANTISpyware (already mentioned), Spybot: Search and Destroy, and any other virus/ malware scanner you may have, to possibly cover any "un-scanned" ground (viruses that are black-listed). Good luck to you, sir. Also ignore all the "You watch naked women" comments, they're just pestering little trolls.

I googled BsoD. That's the exact screen that i get.. it happened 2 times when I was playing maple. But when I don't play maple, it doesn't happen.. I don't get it... BsoD is usually caused because your OS has been converted to a different format other than the original which is supposed to NTFS. This is usually caused because of different files that have been on your computer, which may have corrupted your BIOS memory. Usually the way to do this, is to research a way to reconfigure your OS' format to NTFS. One of the only ways to do this is to reformat your computer, or in simple terms, completely re-installing a clean version of your current OS. FAT32 is wrong configuration of your OS.
