Crusher or Fury?

Okay, so my brother has a level 67 hybrid spearman. He doesn't have a basilmarket acc, so I'm asking for him. So which one should he get first? Spear crusher or PA fury? Apparently the Comple Warrior Guide recommended PA fury first because of some "new training grounds." Well crusher and fury do about the same damage, right? Crusher's extra 30% makes up for the extra defense in play against it I guess. But mobs of 3 are a lot more common than 6, so why should you go PA fury? The only things I could think of were higher damage due to less defense, higher KB rate, and 1-hitting the monster. I don't think any of those are really good reasons, especially since we also have a level 76 priest. So why would the guide recommend it?

Where are mobs of 3 more common than 6? Most training areas have huge mobs,not just 3. o.O

Pa fury first it a good mob skill to use in mpq and crusher useless till u get it lvl 16+...

Wouldn't just walking around, crushering everything in your path be better than luring 'em all together?

Because, Pole Arms are still stronger at lower levels. You should never use PA Fury unless your a pure PA. lol. pretty much, Spear Crusher, sucks until about level 16? not 100% sure, but it takes a while until its better then Power Strike. And you get to hit 2 monsters first with Fury. im not 100% sure about it. sorry if i didnt help. lol. Edit: And Mp3 has a GODLY spawn rate. your probably going to be training at WR or mp3. where there are alot of platforms with mobs more then 3.

Fury hits longer range than crusher. Also, it attacks quite a lot faster.

I'm quite positive MP3 is the last place anyone would find small mobs,beside,Fury has an extended range and you're pretty much guaranteed to hit more than 3. If you want to max Crusher first,feel free to do so,but it's been proven that Fury allows you to level up faster.

Crusher isn't worth getting, i guarantee u, that u'll be using slash blast to kill monsters till crusher is level 16 if u try to master crusher... plus u don't really need crusher till 90+ or 120+.. made the same mistake of getting crusher first and now i mostly use fury to level...

he needs to get PA fury first i know cuz i'm a pure spear and i could have lvled way faster if i was hybrid and used PA fury. from lvls 70+ and u go train u will not be killing mobs of 3, it will be mobs of 6+ from now till lvl 120. so lvl 70-120 will be huge mobs, in which PA fury will come really handy for lvling faster. even if u mpq, u will still need PA fury. lvl 70-78 mp3=mobs,79-90 ws's=big mobs,90-120 himes=big mobs. its all big mobs and fury will pwn.

Hmm... he's probably gonna be training at MP3 since he'll probably be training w/ the priest. I guess PA fury would be better there. EDIT: I didn't see your post. I guess you're right xD

Your information is weird,any Hybrid or PA Pures use PA Fury for most of 3rd job. Fury hits 6 monsters even at level 1,maybe you meant Crusher. BadBwaiX said: "Crusher End of thread."
