That's not a vista problem, so I'm not sure how to fix it. MapleStory runs perfectly on my version of Vista so I guess you should start thinking about fixes elsewhere.

That's not a problem with Vista. Just end MS in the processes and try again.

These who hate Vista are : • People who never tried it. • People who don't have a computer that can handle it correctly (Everyone knows Vista takes more RAM than XP). • People who are not very used to computers.

i dont hate vista, its just that on my older computer workiing with XP, MS worked properly EDIT: and i have 4GB of RAM and a dual core processor, thats more than enough for MS to work with vista!

This isn't a Vista problem. Don't blame all your problems with maple on your OS. You pretty much proved my point by saying that you just got this as a new computer, why is it the OS's problem? There are really only 2 problems with maple that ARE associated with Vista, and it is not in any way Microsoft's fault, but the way things are handled in game: the Zakum DC glitch, and the "Stuck ALT key" glitch. AND these problems only affect SOME people who use Vista. The problem you are referring to is I think simply that the Maplestory.exe process isn't closing. If I'm right, when you exit maple the ad shouldn't pop up. This affects Vista AND XP, I have had it happen personally on both. The way to fix it is easy. Hold Ctrl+Shift+Esc (Ctrl+Alt+Delete on XP) to open the task manager and close Maplestory.exe under Processes. This is a very common problem with a simple solution, and if you knew anything about computers you would have been able to figure it out, instead of just blaming it on your OS.
